Studio 5D
would like to introduce it's 5 star staff. They are among
the most professional faculty in the state of Florida.
Each member brings to the studio their own cutting edge and
unique style. Studio 5D's instructors are recognized both
regionally and nationally in magazines, as well as dance
video's not only for their innovative classes, but for their
outstanding and creative choreography. Each staff member has an
extensive background in dance, theatre, and/or gymnastics and
have received professional certification in their areas of
expertise. |
Miss Mary Virginia Peavy
Miss Mary is no stranger to the
dance industry. She has been dancing since she was 2 years
old and performing professionally on stage since the age of 8.
Born and raised in Tallahassee Florida, she moved to Orlando in
1997 to further her dance career. In 1998, she was
selected, among hundreds who auditioned, to become an Orlando
Predator Dancer.
Miss Mary's fresh and ecclectic
style has made her one of the most sought after dancer's as well
as teacher's in the state of Florida. We are proud to have
her among out stars.
Miss Maris is originally from Rhode
Island. She began her dance training at the early age of 3
and was introduced to the competitive dance arena at the age of
10. During this time, her talent was quickly recognized
and rewarded with numerous trophies and scholarships in both Tap
and Jazz both
Miss Maris continued her path of
success as a cast member for the touring production of 42nd
Street and Crazy for You in her hometown of Rhode Island and
performed in the promotional function for the Broadway Musical,
Footloose.
Currently, Miss Maris attends the
University of Central Florida majoring in Physical Therapy.
When not studying or teaching, she continues her dance training
attending both regional and national workshops throughout the
United States. Her innovative style in both Jazz and Tap,
as well as her knowledge in Ballet, Lyrical, and Modern make her
among out stars at
Studio 5D. |

In
2000, she continued her path and was chosen as a dancer for the
WNBA Orlando Miracles. Miss Mary has worked for Universal
Studios as a seasonal dancer for shows such as Halloween Horror
Nights, Mardi Gras, and Macy's Holiday Parade as a Universal
High Kick Dancer.

and nationally. Her competition schedule included Dance
Educators of America, American Dance Awards, Headliners, Dance
Masters of America, and Stars of Tomorrow, just to name a few.
Miss Maris's triumphs quickly opened the doors to other venues
such as being one of the few 13 year olds Tap extradinares
selected for Star Search's semi finals and appeared on Regis and
Kathie Lee.
