The Fifth Dimensional Dancers
at Studio 5D are comprised of our most serious and committed
dance students. This elite company consists of dancers
from the young age of 5 and extends to the age of 18.
Acceptance into the company is based on our yearly audition
process which is held at the end of each dance year.
Interested individuals should either call the studio or stop by
the front desk for audition information.
Studio 5D has
set the pace over the past 10 years and takes pride in the
continued excellence our company achieves. Each year
surpasses the previous with the dedication and talent of our
company members going hand in hand with our innovative and
inspiring choreography. Costuming and sets for our
routines are second to none and are designed to compliment each
routine perfectly. Every costume is an original design and
custom sewn for each intended individual. Sets are well
thought out and drawn with professional supervision for the
perfect result.
Award Winning routines are a direct result of
continued education by our Artistic Director Ms Gaymarie
Tomlinson and Assistant Artistic Director,
Ms. Maria Darmau-Weatherbee.
The goal of this dynamic duo is to never settle with each years
wins, but to exceed any
expectation year after year. Providing the most creative
and inventive routines has become the reality Studio 5D is known
for. The incredible talent of our company members is what
makes these routines come to life and fulfill the vision of
extreme creativeness. Our awards run deep with 1st overall
routines both on a Regional and National level. Even
our 5 year olds have won
Platinum 1st overall on two separate occasions this season
alone. The Apogee Award at competition is the prize most
sought after because it represents the highest scoring routine
of the entire competition. Studio 5D has enjoyed winning
the hard to achieve Apogee Award, both Regionally and Nationally
for our competitive routines. The following is a small

5D Family: All
the wins and accomplishments are secondary to the importance of
family and
a feeling of home here at our studio. We have
large groupings in every age group, from the very young, to the
juniors, teens and seniors all combing in an working together
for the same goal. The single thing that we are most proud
of here at Studio 5D goes beyond the rare team mentality that
our group displays. These students really care about each
other and celebrate not only group success but the individual
accomplishments of others. They have learned and routinely
demonstrate that true success is achieved with hard work
and sincere caring for one another. This unique group makes
dancing an experience of a lifetime and a privilege to be a part
of.
