Miss Gaymarie Tomlinson, Owner & Artistic Director

Ms. Gaymarie Tomlinson, celebrating 25 years of dance instruction, started dancing and performing at the early age of seven.  She received her dance training from the legendary Edith Royal of the Royal Ballet's principal dancers for eight years.  Ms. Tomlinson's training did not end there.  She continued her studies at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the prestigious Julliard School.  She trained under world-renowned instructors from American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet, and the legendary Gus Giordano.

Ms. Tomlinson's disciplined training led her to principal roles in Gaymarie Tomlinson Artistic Director and OwnerThe Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia, Don Quixote, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Billy the Kid, Hansel and Gretel, Graduation Ball, and the Opera's Carmen and Aida.Ms. Tomlinson's travel led her to Missouri, where she opened her own studio, the "Royal Ballet and School of the Performing Arts"
in Cape Girardeau, for fourteen years.  It was not long before her students were known as the "unstoppable Midwest performing dance company," bringing home First Place Overall Awards at Starpower Nationals, Showbiz Nationals, and Showstoppers, among others. Ms. Tomlinson's journey has ended back home in Florida, with the opening of her successful STUDIO 5D Dance Studio.  Ms. Tomlinson has once again made waves, winning many choreography awards and First Overall awards throughout the state of Florida and the nation.

Ms. Tomlinson's former students have gone on to become Radio City Rockettes, Walt Disney World Dancers, Boston Ballet Dancers/Choreographers, Florida State Golden Girl Dancers, St. Louis Ram Cheerleaders, Carnival Cruise Line Dancers, and American Ballet Theater Ballerinas.

Ms. Tomlinson is currently a member of Dance Master of America, Dance Educators of America, and teaches Master Workshops throughout the United States.  In addition she also regularly attends regional and national dance conventions and competitions, and has judged in the past for Showbiz National Dance Competition.

Some of Ms. Tomlinson's recent choreography accomplishments include: "Cirque on Pointe" and "Arachnophobia."

Miss Maria Darmau-Weatherbee, Assistant Artistic Director

Maria is known throughout the U.S. for her versatility, innovative style and above the ordinary approach to dance, choreography, teaching and performing.  Her specialties include Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Lyrical.

Cabaret, AMaria Darmau Artistic Director Chorus Line, West Side Story, Grease, Chicago, Smoky Joe's  Cafe and Crazy For You, to name a few.  Maria has danced and choreographed for Universal Studios (Halloween Horror Nights), Disney MGM Studios (Legend of Pocahontas,
Toy Story,
Hercules) and Carnival Cruise Lines (Ecstasy).  Television credits include Mountain Dew, McDonald's, Nike, and Sears.  She has also appeared on MTV's Network The Grind and TRL, Univision's Caliente and The Cindy Margolis Show.  In addition, Maria has also had the privilege to work with many artists including Will Smith, Busta Rhymes, Joe and Puff Daddy. 

Her vibrant energy and creativity keep her on her toes and in constant demand all over.  Miss Darmau has been all over the United States judging for Starlight/Co. Dance and teaching Master Workshops.

Some of Maria's recent choreography awards include: "Through our Eyes", "Water not Included", "Dancing Fools', and "Touch of Class".
